Last Tuesday,I was having a coffee with my next door neighbour when I got a pain in my back,like i did when i had
a heart attack.My neighbour looked at me and asked if i was ok.I took my pulse it was 125 per minute.I said just give me a minute after 5 minute's my rate was 100.Not sure what happened.Anyway i went home and just rested.
I told my friend the next day and she made me ring my doctor.
Went up to see him.He got me to have a ECG and looked at 2005's result.
It was about the same,so i said ok,i got up to leave and he said you are not going anywhere,until i am satisfied!
So he sent me for a blood test,called a SSK,but as she was drawing the blood i could see the colour was fine,it was'nt black.But he even had his mobile phone number on the test so they could ring him straight away with the results.
I have to carry a nitrate spray where ever i go now.Just in case.Scary hey?If he did'nt ring by the end of the day meant i was ok.

He did say he really believe's that it won't be a heart attack that kills me as i did'nt have a heart problem before the doctor made the disection of my heart.No my problem will be my breathing,as it gets worse.No wonder my specialist asks about my breathing each time i see him.Now i know why.
That's why i have'nt been on much.But need to get over it and pretend it did'nt happen.
I am sure i will be fine soon.Love Julie xx

Oh Julie, that must have been scary. Don't wait for friends to tell you to see your doctor. If something's happened health wise that it's worth telling your friends about it, you'd just as well be telling your doctor. Look after yourself, hon.

About the breathing, PLEASE< PLEASE PLEASE give up you know what. I want you to be around for a long time . Will be in touch soon. Stop looking after others & take care of yourself.

I think i was too scared to go to the doctors.Like if i went and it was serious i would panic.But if i did'nt go then i would'nt know.I think it's like i really did'nt want to know.
But i will take more care and i will join the ambulance fund,just in case.But then it would be like,what if i called an ambulance and i was ok.What if someone needed it more than me.Love Julie xx

that's understandable, julie. but you also have to take care of yourself so it doesn't get worse. i've learned that since i started working in health care. if you don't look after yourself, who will?
