I had a quiet night in watching the past history programs & the fireworks. Not impressed with Channel 9's party so had my own with Guy DVD. The cat & I !!!!!!, went out the back door & threw away all our problems to the full moon at midnight , then came in the front door for a New Year 2010.

You have to improvise when you are on your own, so the cat had to do

Went to a friend 's today & sat on her verandah, with a view , we chin wagged about nothing at all really . Great day. Hope everyone else had a good Christmas & new Year break

Hope everyone had a good new year (hi trish!!)

I went out with the family last night and came home at 4am. At about 2am, got a call from my brother saying that momma's pains were 5 minutes apart and they were going to the hospital. At 9:45am, my second nephew Marques was born. Yay, a new year's day baby! We just got home from the hospital. The people beside them had to have their baby transferred to Sick Kids Hospital because there were issues with the baby's heart. SKH is a top notch hospital for kids, so I'm confident the baby will be alright. Once the nurse told them of the news, we kept our celebrating to a minimum. My heart truly broke for them as I saw the mother crying and the grandmother looking over at our baby. We introduced Daniel to Marques, and he immediately went fort he eyes, lol. Then gave him a kiss. I'm over the moon right now, but I'm thinking of the other mother as well.

My Sam comes home next week, bringing Marie with him it will be lovely to meet her

Awww! Congrats! Marques continues the tradition started by his cousin. He farted on me a few times, lol. So cute, lol.
