I'm trying to make myself feel a little better about the holidays so I decided to make the thread early to try and cheer myself up a lil bit.


Charli's First Christmas in her favourite sleeping spot...our homemade rather fat xmas tree...LOL

Awww cute kitty and I like your fat Christmas tree it looks cool We are not even putting up any decorations this yr. Its so much work and then you have to take them down again right lol. Not even sure yet if were seeing the Grand kids for Christmas this yr. Their mum and dad are taking them overseas for the holidays. So trying to cheer myself up a little too Ki. Love the pic great idea for a thread.

Umm we actually don't take down our fairy lights I like them all year round...hehehe.
Bugger that you most likely won't see the grandkiddies...the kids were great today took Brandon a little bit to warm up to me again but thyat's to be expected only being allowed to see them for 2 hrs every 4 weeks...I don't get xmas with them at all.

We've put the tree up Robyn but for some reason I can't get into it this year , I think Christmas just comes around so fast these days . It'll be a shame to not see your grandkids . My son is in Canada this year so it seems so strange not to have him home ( probably the reason I can't get in the spirit )

Went to Paradise Carols last night and it was lovely . Toby Moulton was the guest singer. OMG he's gorgeous LOL and has a beautiful voice , much better than what you heard on Idol. As Suzi Quatro said......"Have him washed and brought to my tent"

Jill my son is in Canada too "enjoying " -30 C weather (yes, minus) LOL but comes home January 7 bringing his French Canadian partner with him

Hi Mel Lucky you seeing Toby last night , my daughter adores him ( as do I ) It took Matthew a little while to get used to the cold but he was so rapt to see the snow falling last week , he's in Vancouver at the moment but is spending Christmas in Alberta . He also arrrives home on the 7th January

And ladies, I can sure relate to Canada.. I have 3 Canadian kids.. won't be seeing any of them or my grandchildren. And I do love a white Christmas.

However, I'm spending Christmas with two best friends and their two beautiful dogs - have bought the latter Schmako popcorn!! Hope they like it.

Went to the Hillsong Christmas Spectacular on Sunday night...lets just say that 3 of the main child actors there have a VERY bright future ahead of them...the little girl that plays the orphan...wow wee she has a set of pipes on her for an 8 yr old!

I know a few families who are not giving presents to each other this year so don't feel badly. Our Christmas is always very quiet and money is tight for us this year so we are only giving small gifts to each other and will just enjoy each other's company on Christmas day.

We don't have any rellies here either so it's just Roger, myself, Ben and Judy and Sarah. Sam and Marie are still in Canada and will be home January 7.
