There is a new vicious virus around called "Personal Antivirus" which looks exactly like AVG which pops up and tells you that your system is infected with a trojan virus and it tells you to do a scan
with it which naturally you do and then here comes the hitch. It does the scan then tells you , you
are infected and asks you if you want to remove all the infected things which you click yes then it says you have to get the licence. Its a scheme to make you buy there soft ware. With alot of googling the way to get rid of it is to download malwarebytes it has got rid of it but am having it checked tomorrow just incase any trace of it is still in the system.
This virus looks exactly like your avg those of you who use avg.

Ive downloaded 3 more major virus checkers and scanned to be on safe side
they all disagree with eachother eg some find nothing couple find cookies one found something sounded more alarming
its hard to know just how much we need to do these days to be safe

Sorry just saw this.. it came up looking exactly like avg and it said I had a trojan virus
and it came up so quick that I clicked without realising it wasnt the normal avg and I couldnt
get rid of it. It is a scam for you to buy their software.
