Hi guys, I thought I would start this thread again as though THE OFFICIAL season has yet to start, this weekend is the beginning of the NAB pre season cup. I must admit, that due to my PRE OCCUPATION with Guy I totally forgot my team the Crows were playing tonight!! but I have been watching the game between the Crows and The Pies and its an historic event as its in Dubai, first time ever, and so far , Crows are kicking butt ( sorry D ) but its ONLY half time and so many new and different players. I must confess the adrenalin is pumping slowly but surely again..... SO cmon guys jump on board and come on that roller coaster ride again

we did it very nicely, very nicely indeed.. need to do my homework on the team now, so many no longer there and the young new rookies really stepped up the mark! ( Snoddy you will be happy with this little report from me )

I didnt even know the game was on till I read the paper! BUT I can see Im going to get back into the swing of things pretty easily especially if we play like last night
Yes Im pretty sure Eddie had a little something to do with it being played n Dubai ( lots of money there) but it was a full house and many had NEVER seen a game of AFL before!! there were many aussie ex pats too and though the Pies have a massive following, The Crows gave em a run for their money yesterday
Ok..... Lets get NAB cup out of the way and then straight into SEASON 2008!! whooohooooooo!! be parochial, loud and proud and sometimes in my case ( feral )

Actually Kaz, I dont remember him in the SANFL cause I stopped really following it when the Crows came into the AFL, having said that I am still a bit of a follower of Norwood... now please dont tell me he played for Norwood Who did he play for here?? and dont worry bout stars being out Kaz, your boys may show more depth than you think, just like Crows did, we had heaps of stars out too, anyway I dont think they do take it too seriously- BRING ON STATE OF ORIGIN I SAY!! love kicking the Vics asses

Interesting read ... and NOT before time ..!!

a few of the words used in this article re the 'Eagles' culture ..
arrogance; assaults; drug & alcohol abuse; underworld figures; unchecked poor behaviour ....
and the list goes on .......

the AFL must NEVER condone these patterns of behaviour ...
I sincerely hope the Eagles (as a club) now educate and protect
their young, elite sportsmen in future ..!!

We played like champs for the first half , went and had a 30 minute tea-break in the 3rd and just did enough in the 4th to bring it home ..Although it may have come at the cost of Campbell Browne ( reported ) Young Cryil Rioli is looking like a star of the future
Now it's either the Crows or I think Freo next game

Ok as if having PBBD is not bad enough...9 secs to go and Nathan Bock has the chance to snatch the game by 1 pt and make himself a hero... it was NOT to be, it was an AMAZING game to watch though, so many lead changes and it did come down to the wire...BRAD JOHNSON ALWAYS DESTROYS US plus it was his 300th game they were never going to lose it on a positive though THERE WAS MUCH TO LIKE ABOUT THE CROWS!!!
